The study of architecture, and particularly the great legacy of Modern Architecture, has substantially been achieved from its irrefutable documentary sources: the photographs. Faced with the impossibility of knowledge and direct experience of architecture –matter relegated to journey– the study and the academic assessment of architecture demands necessarily, along with the architectural plans, of the photographic representation. Since the advent of photography in the mid-19th Century we are witnessing a blissful basis for the pairing between it and architecture. The architecture was converted, due to its static condition, on a favorite target for the photographer, who changed the picturesque natural landscape by the scenes of modern urban life.
