Although the figure of the architect Miguel Fisac Manchego, has been subject to multiple approaches – already in life, but exhaustively after his death (2006) and later on the occasion of his centenary (2013) – there is a chapter, related to his travel, which has been treated only tangentially and always superficially. These are his travel books.

In fact, these documents – even minor ones according to their own interpretation – have not been cataloged or studied as a whole. In addition, it is possible to say that although they do not result, as in the case of other architects, an element of first order by their drawings or reflections – for Fisac they had an instrumental value within the own trip – they serve to detect and to enunciate some keys of its thinking and their architectural interest.
