Collection of books and DVDs that brings to light a selection of projects and images of the settlements that the National Institute of Colonization built up for almost four decades throughout the Spanish geography.

Due to its peculiar condition, the colonising villages meant an interesting architectural experimentation platform; a sort of laboratory-bridge between the postwar historicism and a modern architecture with an organic root. However, its most prominent, value even from its earliest examples, was its consistent commitment to a not affected regionalism; the nature of realism, which eventually evolve towards a tendency to modern abstraction.
